Gamestart 2015 just ended. The event is considered to be a successfully event. The Event managed to collect more visitors compared to the same event from the previous year.

GameStart 2015 was held from 13 till 15 November 2015 at Singapore.

GameStart 2015 was held at Suntec Convention Centre, Hall 401 and 402. At the beginning, the event was aiming to bring in more visitors than the previous year. The target is a minimum of 20,000 visitors will attend the event this year. At the end of the event recorded about 17,000 visitors attend the event. Although the target is not reached, it’s still a big success because it managed to surpass the number of visitors last year were ‘only’ about 12,000 visitors.

In the event, the visitors got a chance to try out a new game that has not been released in public. There are about 60 titles on various platforms will be released that can be tasted by visitors of GameStart 2015.

Presents a lot of booth, the Sony Playstation booth looks most large and attractive. This booth, display the latest gaming technology that can be tried by visitors. Sony Playstation showcase its newest device Sony Playstation VR, new technologies will be released next year.

In addition to new hardware Sony also showcased game titles that will be released next year such as: Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Battleborn, Bloodborne: The Old Hunters, Street Fighter V, Mighty 9, Gravity Rush Remastered, and Just Cause 3.

Now we discuss the venue for the annual Asian game event, Gamestart 2015.

Suntec Convention Center is a pretty big place and is often used for large events both locally, regionally, and internationally. Consisting of 6 floors. Located at 1 Raffles Boulevard, Suntec City, Singapore. See the map below. Gamestart 2015 yesterday held in the 4th floor, precisely in the hall 401 & 402.

Well based on the maps shown that the Suntec Convention Center is easy to reach. Seen close to the green line where the path is the subway line from Changi International Airport. Then there is also the yellow line that even past the front of Suntec Conv Center. That yellow line is the bus line. The most comfortable way is indeed to ride a limousine taxi. 🙂

Hotel. There are 5 hotels usually used as a place to sleep for the participants, the media, and visitors on an event at Suntec Convention Center. Those hotels are: Conrad Centennial Singapore, Mandarin Oriental Singapore, Marina Mandarin Singapore, Pan Pacific Singapore, The Ritz-Carlton Singapore.

Conrad Centennial Singapore is located at Two Temasek Boulevard, Singapore, 038982, Singapore. This is five stars Hotel. The hotel is close to the Suntec Convention Center, and only about 12 miles from the Changi International Airport. You will get this facilities if you stay there: Concierge, Fitness Center, Outdoor Pool, & Standard In-Room & Lobby Wi-Fi.

Mandarin Oriental Singapore Hotel. Also five stars hotel. Located at 5 Raffles Avenue, Marina Square, Singapore 039797. Farther than the previous hotel, but still within reach. You can reach the Suntec Convention Center by walking on your feet from the hotel.

There was also a budget hotel that is commonly in use: Plot Hostels, at 259 Outram Road, Singapore 169 056.
